How We Work

 

The Bridal Stylists is an agency representing a team of carefully selected freelance hair stylists and makeup artists. The Bridal Stylists will manage the booking process until the deposit is made then you get direct contact with your stylist however we will be here if needed, throughout the duration of your booking.

 

We have Terms and Conditions which apply to all our bookings and will be sent together with your quote. You should read these carefully and in full before booking, but please see below a helpful summary of the key points:

Guide timings 

(Wedding day Hair AND Makeup, halved if Hair OR Makeup):
Bride: 1.5-2 hours
Bridesmaid/Mums: 1-1.5 hours 

Young/mini Bridesmaid: 30-45mins

Flower Girl: 15-20 minutes

If the designs that you require are more elaborate/time consuming, e.g require lots of hair extensions/padding, heavy contouring etc (this includes Hollywood Waves) and therefore require more time than suggested, this can be arranged but will be charged in addition to the prices quoted. The additional charges also apply if the client is delayed from the agreed timings given in advance of the day and require the stylist to wait or work longer.

Payment

Stylists are only confirmed once your deposit is received.  

Once received, sit back and relax knowing that your stylist and the wedding date are secured! 

• The deposit is deducted from the wedding day balance. 

• The trial payment is payable in cash on the day of the trial or via bank transfer up to 24 hours prior to the trial. We do not accept bank transfers on or after the trial, nor cheques. If you require a second trial, the full trial rate will apply. 

• ​The wedding day balance is payable directly to your stylist via bank transfer 6 weeks prior to the wedding. 

Failure or delay to make payments in the time frames stated above may result in the loss of booking with all previous payments made being retained.

 

We do not offer discounts to the published rates.

Cancellation

If you decide to cancel, the deposit is partly refundable up until 6 weeks prior to the wedding date or 6 weeks after the trial - whichever comes first. A £50 admin fee will be retained by us from your deposit.

In the unlikely event that your stylist is unable to attend the wedding booking due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, all efforts will be made to find a suitable replacement, or the balance and deposit will be refunded in full.

Please check our Terms and Conditions carefully and your statutory rights are not affected.

Changes to bookings

Availability and your quote is based on the booking size, service requirements, timings and location mentioned in your initial enquiry. Booking sizes cannot be reduced once confirmed but may be increased pending timings on the day.  

Notification should be given of any changes to the booking and trial as soon as possible.

We aim to accommodate any changes that may occur however if these changes affect your stylist’s availability, we may be required to allocate a different stylist. Further trials will be charged in full if required. 

 

If booking numbers are TBC, you must book only for the minimum booking size, as once the booking is confirmed, numbers and requirements cannot be reduced but may be increased at a later date if timings on the day permit.

Changes in locations may incur further travel charges. 

 

Environmental, Coronavirus and Health and Safety Concerns

Smoking whilst a stylist is working is not permitted.​

We operate within strict Covid safe guidelines – the most up to date version of our Policies and Procedures are available upon request and will be sent sent together with your quote.
