frequently asked questions...

What happens on the pre-wedding run-through?

Your chosen stylist will come and visit you at your home and talk through any ideas and looks that you like. They can bring some images to inspire and give you ideas but if you have any of your own, even better! They will then work with you to create the perfect look to suit you and your hair and skin type. They will also discuss with you and organise timings for the wedding day as well as hair/make-up requirements for bridesmaids and mums if applicable. It's a great idea to bring any accessories, or your veil if you are having one, to try out with your chosen style.

Is there a time limit for the pre-wedding re-through and how long does it last?

Not at all, we will work with you until you are completely happy with your look. Please allow roughly 2-4 hours for your trial.

Which products do you use?

Our stylists use a variety of different brands such as M.A.C, Chanel, Benefit, Clinique, Nars, Dermologica, Dior, Illamasqua, Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, Lancome, YSL, Shu Uemura, Urban Decay, L'Oreal & Bumble and Bumble - all tried, tested and trusted!

If I have lots of bridesmaids will there be enough time to get everyone ready on the day?

Yes! Our stylists always ensure that they arrive prompt and on time. Your detailed schedule, which will have been created ahead of the day, will ensure that the morning runs smoothly with each person getting the right amount of attention required. If necessary we can arrange for an additional hair/make-up assistant to help.

How can I ensure my make-up stays perfect all day?

Our stylists specialise specifically in Bridal make-up, therefore the techniques the artists use in application will give your make-up great staying power through even the most tearful events! If you prefer, you can also book your make-up artist to stay and be on standby offering touch-ups throughout the day so that you look your absolute best all day long. We always recommend that you have your own lipstick/gloss to keep with you and a pressed powder (just incase!).
