Hair and makeup is my passion, I feel fortunate to have a career that I absolutely love!

I trained at the renowned Delamar Academy London and have since been working as a full time freelance hair and make-up artist for television, commercial, fashion, corporate events and weddings.

I know that choosing hair and make-up is a very personal process, which is why I like to provide an individual and approachable service, taking time to get to know each clients personal style and using my experience to give my advice and guidance.

Bridal hair and makeup is my favourite area to work in. I love to design hair that looks timeless, feminine, effortless and romantic. I like to apply make-up to enhance individual natural beauty rather than masking it and I aspire to make someone to feel beautiful inside and out.

I specialise in East Asian (Oriental) hair and makeup and have many years of experience working with brides from China, The Philippines, Vietnam, Korea, Japan, Tibet and Malaysia.
So I am very familiar with these skin tones and features such as monolids, as well as Asian bridal traditions.

Brands you will find in my kit are: Bobby Brown, MAC, Makeup Forever, Nars, Giorgio Armani, Inglot, Kryolan and Ben Nye.

Julie did my hair and make-up for my wedding in March. I loved the results of the trial and thought my hair and make-up were beautiful. I was thrilled on the day. My make up was natural yet striking, and lasted well into the night. I don't normally wear my hair up but the style that Julie came up with was easy to wear and I felt really comfortable. I couldn't have been happier with how I looked.

She listened to exactly what I wanted and created the lovely natural but striking look that I was after and my hair and makeup stayed put for the whole day even though I had to do a photo shoot in the rain! Julie was very professional and paid very close attention to detail, making sure that everything was perfect and even helping me find the dance loop in my dress when we couldn't find it minutes before we had to leave!
